the light that was so dim

The light what was so dim
 fades from their eyes
 and the skin becomes cold
as the heart no longer prevails

 cold winters morning
 melting snow, upon the ground
 their upon the second floor
 once were waisted lives
 now bodies on the floor

it ain’t grand, it ain’t romantic
 it just you lying there…
 and it’s just sad,
as the rest of the life
 you never once had

fallen stars and the somber night

fallen stars and the somber night
 reflections of bygone, desire visions
 of trials past

 upon the streams unto rapids
around the bend unto the depth
 of currents time passing

unto rest and the gentle sigh
swaddle in respite in the arms
 of others woes

 night becomes neither day
nor the dusk returns to evening’s
 graven shadows

the silver light of dawn’s breaching
unto gold as the mist of the morning
 carries our souls

Reality’s Keepings

Never felt so quicken to anger...

 my candle once burning bright
to never last came so dim
to fade the light upon my path

 demure has become my intent
for peace, and what will to live
becomes strand of frozen dry wheat

  shattered become childhood dreams
 upon the hardening force
 of realities keeping
